Xiaomi has begun rolling out its latest version of MIUI operating system titled, ‘MIUI 9.5’ Global Stable ROM. The update is available in the form of an over-the-air (OTA) update. If reports are believed to be true, the company has made the update available for a select number of users only.
In other words, the Xiaomi experience is limited to a select number of users. There is no word on when correctly the update will launch for other users as well. The latest update is reportedly rolled out for smartphones including Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 3 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 variant), Redmi Note 4 (Snapdragon 625 variant), Redmi Note 4X, Redmi 4A, Redmi 5 Plus, Mi Max and Mi Max Prime.
As per the announcement made by the Chinese technology giant, the rollout of the MIUI 9.5 Global Stable ROM will only be complete once the access is available to all of its smartphones. Since the update was last open in phases, the same is expected to be carried out this time as well.
However, it is scheduled for the procedure to take a whole lot more time than others, to reach the entire group of smartphones. Xiaomi said that they hope to complete the seeding process within a month’s time. The smartphone is further going to be receiving the latest MIUI 9.5 update later this month, i.e., in March 2018.
The MIUI 9.5 update will be available for the following smartphones: Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm/Redmi Note 4X, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Redmi 3S, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi 4A and Redmi Note 4 MTK (MediaTek Processor) variant.
The remaining smartphones will receive the update sometime next month. However, a specific date will not be included as such.
