Windows 8: Several Ways to go into Safe Mode

1- Run command, type msconfig, then click on safe boot
-Minimal- safe mode
-Alternative shell- safe mode with command prompt
-Active Directory Repair- Don’t worry about this, it pertains to a Domain Controller
-Network- safe mode with networking

2- Safe mode through the Advanced Options. There are several way to get to the Advanced Options depending on where you are currently Windows Operating System (login screen, smart screen, desktop, etc). Basically where ever you see a restart button you just hold down the shift key and click restart.

Once you do this another screen will pop up that says “Choose an option”.

You want to choose “Troubleshoot”.
Then Advanced Options,
then Startup Settings
then on next window you click on “restart”

then a menu will pop up:

1) Enable debugging
2) Enable boot logging
3) Enable low-resolution video
4) Enable Safe Mode
5) Enable Safe Mode with Networking
6) Enable Safe Mode with Command Prompt
7) Disable driver signature enforcement
8) Disable early launch anti-malware protection
9) Disable automatic restart after failure

3- You can boot into safe mode if you have recovery system disk
4- or recovery USB stick.

4- Supposedly if your computer is old and slow you may have a small chance to get into safe mode by smashing the f8 keys during boot up. However I was not fortunate even with my older PC / laptops.

Any comments, subs, likes are welcome. Thanks.
