Rumors have speculated stating that Apple is considering releasing an smart watch. Reasons that hint consumers and analysts to this is the other lucrative watches out there. It is apparent that this type of creation can sell well, and that people are interested. A prime example of this is the Pebble born on Kickstarter. With a funding goal of only $100,000, the project received $10,500,000. Keep in mind this is just a Kickstarter project. Imagine a company with $50,000,000,000 to put into this project. The product that can be comprehended is a comfortable, stylish watch, that can perform as advertised.
This watch will have to out-do the Pebble and other competitors bringing more goodies to the table. Some predictions are a full-color LCD, Siri, respond to messages, and more. Apple’s notification system would work well on something like this. The one problem lies with Apple’s marketing. Is this really the right route for Apple? Should making consumer handhelds be made only in this category? This is again a rumor, but it seems to be a strong possibility.
