Why and How I clone my Hard drives. My Computer history and demo.04:33

I save pictures, documents, etc. on USB portable drives, not on any websites!
They are fast and no Internet needed! But you can’t save entire programs on them!
NOTE* If your computer fails, just exactly what computer are you going to use to download your data anyway?
For me, cloning Hard drives is better than backups and costs only the price of a second hard drive like this 1TB Seagate at $44.95. You could use and SSD drive also, but I prefer the Barracudas as that is what I have on hand and they are MUCH cheaper!
Cloning (copying) the entire hard drive saves the operating system and programs, along with updates, drivers, and other items not typically saved in a backup, unless you have a professional and expensive backup setup.
Exact hard drive copying is fast and easy. I did my 1TB drive in 30 minutes and it is running fine.
Now if the computer fails, I’ll just pop in my backup drive and away it goes without missing a beat!
I know there are other software programs and ways, but this is the way I like to do it.

If you glean any information out of this video, then I am pleased. Thanks kindly for watching.
