When Jeff said his friend, John, lived near Rushmore MN and the local RC flying club (Rushmore Southwest High Flyers) was putting on a 2 day air show, he said we should come.. I do not like to drop in on RC clubs un-invited, but as it turns out John asked Mr. Boldt if we could fly, and he said yes. It was late and windy, but we flew anyway. These big planes are humbling to most of the foamie guys, but in these winds, heavy and big is better. Be that as it may, Jeff and I flew small stuff, including me flying my Ladybird micro Quad and NOTAR Blade MCPX inverted in these winds. Met lots of folks I used to know, and it was fun.
