Wax Slugs – Long Range Fragging + See Magnus Effect in Action04:33

We show the effective-range of a 1oz wax slug by shooting at a truck door at 100 yards. Accuracy degrades further than that even though the slugs will travel several hundred yards if you lob them. Both wax slugs only went through the outer skin of the door and put big dents on the inner panel.
Then we test a concept I have wanted to try for a long time, landing the round in front of the target to see what sort of splash-damage they will do. Jacob was slightly off his mark but when the slug broke apart, it spread the shot outwards and still hit the water jug. It was still a good shot because he got the elevation right. (hard to do using “Kentucky windage” at close to 100 yards)
