~Please Read~ Pass this on to your MECHANIC friends, as they will surely relate! This vintage 1977 V-8 engine was a challenge to build for sure. It would take me way less time to build a real engine of my own like I did back during my Drag Racing days at California’s Fremont drag strip in the Sixties. Bill Yates a friend, business partner, Porsche Dealer, and racing legend gave me this engine before he died. I wanted to build it many times, but each time I opened the box and saw all those parts, I put the lid back on.
Anyway, I decided to build it. It was difficult to build at best, and I would hope the newer models would be easier. However the newer engines do not have the working spark plugs or starter motor, so this one is rare.

I outlined my pros and cons in the video. So unless you are very good with your hands and eyes, you may find this more of a challenge than expected with lots of “bumps” along the way.

But when it is all done, it is a masterpiece of engineering.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. Please be sure to rate my video and pass it on to your Mechanic Friends.
