How to Trick Apps into Thinking You’re on Wi-Fi

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use the Xposed module Fake Wifi Connection to bypass an app’s connectivity restrictions. Some apps, like Xfinity TV Go, require you to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to stream video, but with this module, you will be able to skip that requirement and start streaming on mobile data. This also works with VoIP services!
To use this module, you must be running a rooted device with Xposed Installer. I’ll be using my HTC One as an example, but it should work with just about any rooted device using Xposed.
