In this softModder tutorial I’ll be showing you to automate your Wi-Fi connection in order to save battery. With AVG WiFi Assist NOW (known as WiFi Hotspot On/Off Manager on Google Play), you’ll be able to automatically manage your Wi-Fi connection, turning it off/on whenever you enter and leave a Wi-Fi hotspot that you’ve connected to before. Using cell tower signals as a means of recognizing location, the application neutralizes the use of GPS signal, increasing battery life.
