A platoon of Soldiers, assigned to U.S. Army Alaska’s 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, deployed within the Arctic Circle to Deadhorse, Alaska, on two USAFC-17 Globemaster IIIs.

Operation Arctic Pegasus is U.S. Army Alaska’s annual joint exercise designed to test rapid-deployment and readiness in the Arctic. The exercise marks the first time Stryker Combat Vehicles have ever been deployed within the Arctic Circle.
