Coastal Command Patrol Boat, assigned to task Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.7, is launched into the Persian Gulf after her transit from San Diego, Calif. CTG-56.7 conducts maritime security operations to ensure freedom of movement for strategic shipping and naval vessels operating in the inshore and coastal areas in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
