Marines conduct the Combined Arms Exercise as a part of their pre-deployment training at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California.

The combined arms exercise is the largest ground-based training evolution the MEU will execute prior to embarking aboard naval ships. MEUCAX offers the only opportunity to execute battalion-level live-fire combined arms training prior to deploying.

The units are with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, Combat Logistics Battalion 11, and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced).

AiirSource Military covers events and missions from the United States Armed Forces: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
