How often should you upload a youtube video? What frequency? I have uploaded a video every single day for the past 2 years. Two years ago I was at about 50,000 subscribers. Fast forward two years and now i have about 190,000 subscribers. Of course a lot of this growth is not solely contributed to uploading a video everyday. I do think the giveaways i started about a year ago has helped my channel as well. Now.. what i noticed from uploading a video every single day for the past two years is that as soon as my next video is released the previous video views will drop dramatically (per hour) as soon as the new video is live. Im talking about an instant drop of 50-80% drop within the first few hours. I do believe that this is affected somehow by Youtubes algorithm which of course is always being updated. I do think instead of uploading a video every single day i may be better off doing like 2-5 videos per week instead. This way Youtube can keep suggesting/recommending my last video and let it continue to get traction. Of course this is all speculation and ill update with another video later if you are interested. Sorry about the rambling. And I’m gonna keep saying this till the day i die.. but being a Youtuber is the best job in the entire world so i encourage all of you to start uploading and don’t stop. You’ll get better as you go. And ignore all the naysays and trolls that is part of the business. ????
