A power grid on the seabed, over 3,000 meters beneath the ocean surface – the “Subsea Power Grid”. At the unique Subsea Technology Center in Trondheim, Siemens researchers are working on an underwater power network that can withstand high pressures of up to 320 bar – for a duration of 20 to 30 years!
