Sante Claire, headquartered in Kyoto, is continuing to provide products connected to mental health and healing of the mind and in that spirit introduced two new ultrasonic aroma diffusers, the “Wedding” and the “ＭＩＮＩＭ” at the 2008 Tokyo International Gift Show.

An ultrasonic aroma diffuser is a device that gently diffuses fragrances using ultrasonic waves, or in other words, high oscillation frequencies that can not be detected by the human hear, and this is done without the use of heat. Micro particles are created from the essential oils by vibrations occurring as fast as 1.7 million and 2.8 million vibrations per second and those micro particles are then diffused throughout the room. Unlike steam diffusion that uses heat, ultrasonic diffusion does not cause any loss in the properties of the oil’s fragrant molecules, so the true fragrance of the aroma can be experienced.

In addition to the relaxation and healing effect of the aromatic bath, the ultrasonic aroma diffuser can rehydrate dry skin and hair and refreshes and cleans the air with its negative ion effect.
