U.S. Marines KC-130J Super Hercules refueling operations with Spanish Navy pilots. Two Spanish harrier jets ( (VA-2 Matador II) departed Naval Station Rota, Spain, and tested their ability to complete inflight-refueling procedures with a KC-130J from U.S Marins. The two groups coordinated their aerial movement via radio, and carried out several training rehearsals while flying over open water. The ability to complete bilateral refueling missions allows the U.S. and partner forces to significantly extend the range of their aircraft. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Paul Peterson/Released)
