Two Lethal Beauties

Arizone Desert Ironwood is the topic of this video. Two entirely different slingshots are presented, a gloveshot and a classical “Y” shaped model. But both are made from the dense, heavy, and glossy ironwood one can only find in the desert of Arizona. The wood has not been stained or colored in any way – it is just polished. The slingshots are both effective and beautiful.

Desert Ironwood usually has some small cracks, from the blazing sun and frosty nights in Arizona. So both slingshots have a metal (steel) core. This makes them perfectly solid, virtually unbreakable, and retains the beauty of the wood.
