At DTG Summit 2013, we got to have a quick chat with Paul Egan, vice president for business development at Neul, a company that’s trialling TV white space broadband services.
TV white space is a type of wireless broadband which doesn’t require clear line of sight to deliver broadband internet services. Trees, hillsides and other obstacles are no problem, making TV white space a potential live saver for those in remote areas where terrain prohibits both fixed-line and wireless broadband solutions.
