I try to explain how a tsunami can travel so fast through the ocean. Hopefully this video helps explain. I had a very hard time understanding how a tsunami can travel at such a fast speed, around 500 MPH (700 kmh) I could not wrap my head around it. It’s easier to understand that it is energy flow, and not water flow. Water is simply a medium the energy is passing through.
