As you saw before, the Launch with my JATO Rocket Motors not positioned EXACTLY down the center-line, was this Eurofighters’ demise, but not the end! Here is my 3rd attempt. *Note, there is no air over the control surfaces at rest, with ducted fans, so until it reaches speed, nothing works. But as soon as it is moving, all is well.
Note, I will be trying this with a lighter bird next time, since this one is quite “Millenium Falconed”, and duct tape heavy. LOL.
Remember, we always have to be prepared with model rocketry for the unexpected, including Jet Assisted Take Off’s. Don’t do this at home, or anybody else’s. Go to a safe location, just like you would with any model rocket.
