Snapchat and Instagram are substitutes. Both the applications can be used interchangeably, mainly because they sport the same kind of features. However, amidst the sparring match between the two, Snapchat seems to be losing badly. It has very few users in comparison to Instagram.
Things got worse for them especially after they integrated an even more confusing interface, which included inferior features and bad ad experience. “Although Snap’s most recent earnings report showed a few flickers of life, with 8.9 million users added in the last quarter of 2017, Snapchat currently has 187 million daily active users,” notes a report by Gizmodo. The figure is pretty much half of what Instagram is pulling in. Following given are some of the reasons why you should ditch Snapchat for Instagram:
It is a pleasure to look at
Instagram is just a pleasure to watch at as such. It is pretty organized. Snapchat, on the other hand, is a ruckus. Its features are all over the place. One cannot even tap on the ‘Stories’ section without going through some other different features first. Snapchat has very few users in comparison to Instagram. Snapchat is experimenting too much
The annoying part about Snapchat is that it is experimenting with a lot of things at the same time. This move does not provide the users with a relief period wherein they can enjoy the features that were recently introducing. It is essential for users to take a look at and even understand the different elements that are so rapidly introducing. Instagram, on the other hand, ensures that things go ever so smoothly when it comes to their features.
