Machines are even taking the jobs of pirates. Sad yarrr.
These drones, called Deep Trekkers, can help researchers and explorers get to shipwrecks that are too deep and dangerous for humans to explore themselves. To make sure it can see into dark corners, the drone is equipped with sonar. It’s even got an arm for collecting samples and cutting through ropes and, we hope, sword fighting with buccaneer ghosts.
Ok, that last thing wasn’t true. We sure wish it was, though.
