This 3D-Printing Pen Got A “Double” Upgrade04:33

The plain, old 3D-Printing pen just got an upgrade.

The Scribbler Duo has two nozzles instead of one for faster printing. All 3D-printing pens allow users to draw structures in real time and repair mistakes in larger objects.

These pens can also be used by professionals for immediate prototyping or amateurs for free-wheeling drawing and design. The Scribbler Duo prints with the usual 3D-printing supplies — filaments, metal, and silk.

Ultimately, this isn’t a replacement for a traditional 3D printer, and some consider printing pens like this no more than a toy or a fad.

If you want to try for yourself, the project is now available on Kickstarter starting at $60.
