Can’t find your connecting flight? These robots could help. LG designed “Wall-E”-type robots to make air travel easier. The Airport Guide Robot is designed to interact with travelers and can understand Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Its large curved screen displays flight information, scans boarding passes and gives directions to your gate. But this robot’s shorter brother could be an even bigger help. The Airport Cleaning Robot is an oversized Roomba that patrols the airport and collects garbage on the floor. The robot knows the areas most likely to be dirty, so, it would be monitoring the bathroom pretty frequently. These robots can be found in the Incheon International Airport.
