The world’s tiniest 58 lb bow?04:33

En route to develop a slingbow version of the popular Rambone slingshot, a new prototype iteration is ready for testing. This time, a complete frame is presented. This allows lowering the embedded whisker biscuit a full 2 cm, so it almost touches the fist.

This low fork, combined with the super ergonomic Rambone handle, allows very strong bands. 58 lb of a draw weight is quite substantial for a slingbow. The heavy aluminum arrow lands with a deeply satisfying thud into the thick archery mat.

The next prototypes will see improvements on the whisker biscuit assembly and the string itself, but the frame itself seems to be really good by now.

A “The Slingshot Channel” production!
