The World’s First All-Electric Sport Utility Truck Is The Bollinger B1

Published on November 29, 2017

You’re looking at a Bollinger B1, the world’s first all-electric sport utility truck.

Bollinger Motors is a New York-based startup, and this is its first prototype of the vehicle.

Bollinger says the B1 runs completely on electricity with an impressive range of around 200 miles per charge. This beast also boasts 360 horsepower and accelerates to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

The company also claims that its battery pack fully recharges in 75 minutes.

Funding for this project has mostly come from the founder’s previous business: a skincare company. So the business is currently seeking a manufacturing partner to produce a fleet of 15,000 vehicles that it hopes to roll out within the next 19 months.
