In the latest issue of Model Aviation Magazine (.modelaircraft.org) I saw an ad for the old Cox Classic Warbirds from a company called Gravity Hobby.
( ) I knew of the Cox Warbirds from before, but Cox is gone. The price of $15.99 with motor and hardware caught my eye, so I ordered the Corsair and the Spitfire. They take a few hours to build, and it is imperative to use the right size equipment. I used a GWS FM 6Ch RX, My Hitec Elipse 7 Transmitter, a GWS micro ESC, 2 E-Flite mini servos, and a 7.4 V, 800 Mah battery. The plane flies Phenomenal for a 3 channel, and has a really great glide to weight ratio. They are also very tough and fast little planes. They can take way more abuse than say the Parkzone J-3 cub or P-51 too. These are great little planes and the detail on them is very good. Here are the specs.
