The Agenda of Photography | Christopher Makos

In his talk, Chris Makos will discuss “The Agenda of Photography”; what it is, and how it has changed over the course of the history of photography, right up till the present day. From the very beginning of his photography career, Christopher has seen a complete change in the way the medium has been dealt with; from the analog years of film, with its negatives, to the current incarnation of ‘film’, that has become digital. The way the viewer deals with photography has changed as well; from the very early years of photography when photographers looked toward painters as examples of how to compose a photograph, to today, where the immediacy becomes the learning tool, without the aid of anyone, except ones self. This will be Christopher’s all encompassing agenda to discuss.
