As they promised they’d do, ISIS is attacking western countries and murdering as many as they can in their ’cause.’ These are simple attacks and we are fortunate not to have had more. Radical Islam is determined to establish a worldwide caliphate and is and has been willing to kill on a widespread basis to make their point. They tell the world that Islam’s power and authority is absolute and all dissenting voices will be crushed. They seem to be delivering on that promise too.
Drawing from some astonishing lessons from the Pacific Island Campaign, and the ETO, I apply them to these regrettable modern events. A series of questions will cover some of the content in this hard-hitting free TNP video that addesses them: Can we defend, in THIS case, against Islamic mass shooters and suicide bombers? Why did some P-47 Thunderbolt fighter pilots make up excuses and return to base on missions? Are candle light vigils, appeasements, and peace rallies historically proven to be effective foreign policy tools? Has political correctness historically survived the realities of war and was it helpful? Will this lead to a much broader and global conflict?
