The Steyr M9 A1 is highly ignored by most gun media. Someone stupidly made the decision it isn’t a real combat handgun and a group think established online along those lines. This TNP gun review will serve to combat this ignorance and hopefully boost the popularity of the M9/L9. This review will also cover the Steyr S9, C9, and L9 series of pistols; it also comes in .40 S&W. We found this Steyr to be very accurate, reliable, lightweight, highly ergonomic, and cheap to purchase. The 2nd Generation of the M9 improved the trigger, the ejector, and added a plus 2 rd baseplate for 17 rounds. The trapezoidal sights of the Steyr are good and allow for better precision than standard 3 dot sights. The grip is superb and needs no interchangeable backstraps. Highly recommended.
