Revered by millions and oft held up as a standard for how a bullpup rifle should be done, the Steyr AUG has been around forever. The AUG in fact was for many years one of my lust guns. That was in the 80s and 90s and I’ve come a long way since then in my perception and evaluation of all things tactical. So let’s see how the AUG stacks up now against what is an incredibly competitive tactical carbine market where 1 MOA and complete reliability is commonplace. This is the Steyr AUG A3 M1 version.
