NASA commentator Amiko Kauderer talks with Dr. Kasthuri Venkateswaran, principal investigator for the Microbial Observatory experiment aboard the International Space Station that focuses on the millions of other living things on the station other than the crew: the microbes which share the environment with the human crew. Dr. Venkateswaran is with the California Institute of Technology and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.
