Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 50 Flight Engineer Thomas Pesquet (pron: Toe-MAH Pess-KAY) of ESA (European Space Agency) discussed the first weeks of his planned six-month mission on the orbital outpost during an in-flight event Dec. 6 with French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, French Science Minister Thierry Mandon (pron: Terry Man-DAHN) and other officials gathered at the French Academy of Sciences in Paris. Pesquet arrived on the station in November and is expected to remain in orbit until mid-May.
