MobileBurn.com – The Sony Xperia P is the mid-range member of Sony’s NXT line of smartphones. Already available in Europe for some time, the Xperia P can now be purchased in the U.S. direct from Sony. It features a 4-inch, qHD Reality Display with Sony’s new White Magic technology, and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. The phone is solidly built, but it has a puny 1305mAh battery that is not user accessible. Unfortunately, the Xperia P runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sony’s custom user interface, and that makes the phone feel terribly dated compared to other options on the market. You can purchase the Xperia P unlocked (supports AT&T and T-Mobile, but only has 3G on AT&T) from Sony for $449.99 now.
