Sling-X-Bow with Scope vs. Ballistic Gelatine04:33

The slingshot crossbow has now been outfitted with a scope and a stock. Also, the “barrel” (which really is a guide rail for the sliding fork) has been reinforced with two more steel tubes. Now the weapon can handle even the strongest bands.

The crossbow is tested against a solid 17 kg block of certified ballistic gelatin, which it easily penetrated all the way. To make it harder, a water filled cat food tin can has been put in front of the gelatin…

Then, three other commercial crossbows using conventional steel as “engine” are compared regarding the penetration.

Last not least, as a bonus, the “bonecrusher” ammo gets fired from a power slingshot into the gelatin. Wow! Some kind of damage.
