Single Blade Propeller experiment on my Blade MQX Quadcopter..04:33

( Please Read ) I’m not promoting anything here, it’s just that having put single rotor blades on many of my helis and airplanes, it was only natural for me to try it on a quadcopter. I decided to use my MQX. The hardest part is balancing a prop that weighs less than 2 grams, and with 4 props, the harmonic vibrations thru the machine makes it difficult. I tried to use one of my composite motors to balance the props but it kept quitting, thus I surmised they were the reason I was having problems with my Home made Quad. I found some great replacements from Nanoplanes.net and am pleased. So even though the MQX 1 bladed props are not perfectly balance, you can see they work. this is simply my experiment to see if it would actually fly and show you the fun.
