I met up with some local YT’er this weekend to shoot a video together. Both of these guys are professional cameramen and just MAYBE I can learn something from them. They are just as nice off camera as they are on camera.

Socrates (yes that is his real name) suggested that we shoot flaming arrows and film them in slow motion. I like how he thinks, and none of us could recall anyone shooting flaming arrows in slo-mo before.

We also put sparklers on the arrows hoping the bright sparks would show up well in the low light conditions. (high speed cameras do not work well in low light). The stuff we put on the ends of the arrows ended up making the arrow fly a little goofy, and on top of that none of us really could shoot arrow with any proficiency. (another way of saying we all sucked)
