Shotgun Wax Slug vs Propane Tank – Surprising damage!04:33

Pretty cool shots of wax slugs slicing open propane bottles. The unexpected thing here are the shots where the slug impacts are not direct and tear open the sides rather than just deflecting off. I also didn’t expect the slugs to penetrate both sides- I just expected one big hole in the front.

I have a lot of footage from the last tests so I will probably be posting one a day, hopefully you won’t get tired of these. (4 hours of filming) Rather than make real long videos I am trying to keep these “bite sized”. So that is why I am posting so many of them.

I show how I made these at the end.
—-BEFORE YOU TRY MAKING WAX SLUGS—-
A guy at AR15.com posted a story of his shotgun blowing up while using wax slugs. I encourage you to read this first.
The shotgun was a Maveric (the econo-line from Mossberg). Some say he may have shot a squib (the primer didn’t ignite the powder, but caused a barrel obstruction)

Again, I stress, use these at your own caution.

We used 2 bottles in this.
Cameras: Casio EXF1 Pro running at 600 and 1200 frames per second.
