Scratching Sapphire – Kyocera Brigadier Review04:33

The Kyocera Brigadier is the first to bring a full Sapphire glass display to the market. Sapphire is what is rumored as the next up and coming replacement for glass. There is only one element harder on the Mohs hardness scale which happens to be a diamond. Since only diamond should be able to scratch the display, I thought we should take some time and put that to the test.

I did my best to scratch the display throwing (not literally) all kinds of objects at the screen that I would never dream of bringing near a normal glass display. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by the results in this video.

The Brigadier has a Snapdragon 400 processor with 2GB of RAM, a 4.5 inch 720p display featuring Kyocera’s home grown synthetic sapphire crystal.
