I’ve used Uber for years with no problems, but recently had an experience that deeply shook my trust in them, and I wanted to warn you about it. I’m not sure if it was truly a one-time glitch, or something that happens regularly, but all I know is that it can happen. An Uber driver fraudulently claimed that I had tried to fit more than 4 people into their car, resulting in an additional fee. While bad enough, what was worse is that I was not notified of this fee at all, and only found out when going through individual credit card expenses, and found a charge that was unaccounted for.
