In this video, I’ll be showing you a cool root app called “RadioControl” that automatically disables cellular data when you connect to a Wi-Fi network, then turns it back on when you leave.

Since the mobile data connection is one of the biggest sources of battery drain, disabling cellular connectivity when you’re already connected to Wi-Fi can help quite a bit, especially if you’re in a poor coverage area. However, SMS will not work on most carriers, and you’ll have to enable Wi-Fi calling to make and receive calls, so be aware of those stipulations.
