Earlier this week, images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo (2018) smartphone showed up online. The picture, which posting on Twitter, was quick to go viral on leading social media websites. However, the authenticity of the film was not providing the poster. It was only after the fans went crazy over the thought of gaining access to the leak that the poster clarified that the image is a concept render. In other words, it is not the accurate representation of the final product. The render appears showcases what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo (2018) might look like as such.

The device first showed up on the Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo. The image represents a slightly mid-ranged smartphone that looks the same way as most of the other Samsung smartphones. As can be recalled, the majority of the Samsung low-end devices end up featuring a similar kind of design. According to a report published by Android Headlines, “The image (in the leaked story) is the first supposed sighting of the presumably low-end device that appears to feature the same look utilized by the majority of Samsung’s other offerings in the entry-level price bracket released in recent years.”

Therefore, it does not come across as a surprise that the Galaxy J7 Duo (2018) smartphone packs a regular-sized display. By the picture, it appears that the handset features a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. Apart from this, the device also goes on to extend support for a physical Home button, which is further reportedly flanked by the capacitive system navigation keys. The South Korean technology giant is expected to advertise the Galaxy J7 Pro (2018) as the primary selfie-oriented product which is the best choice in the market. According to leading rumors, the smartphone will end up featuring a single-lens front camera system.

If reports are believed to be accurate, then the handset might also extend support for a dual-LED (dual tone) flash unit as well. Notably, a manual that mentions information about the Galaxy J7 (2018) line-up was also taking the rounds of the internet recently. By the newly leaked manual, the Galaxy J7 (2018) line-up will reportedly extend support for the company’s Bixby digital voice assistant as well. For those who aren’t aware, Bixby is Samsung’s artificial intelligence (AI) assistant who was initially introduced by the South Korean technology giant in 2017.

As can be recalled, they launched the digital voice assistant with the introduction of their Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus line-up in 2017. The company was experiencing a somewhat tricky time back then as they were recovering from the battery-explosion issue and controversy that they were surrounded with as such. Therefore, with the hope to revive their lost glory, the South Korean technology giant decided to invent something that had never been seen before. On the similar line, they launched their 2017 flagship smartphones, i.e., Galaxy S8/S8 Plus and the Note 8. Notably, both the smartphones were home to the most advanced features of the time. They were both carrying Samsung’s newly-introduced Infinity Display technology, which was pegged as their primary highlights as well.

“Unlike the firm’s high-end products, the upcoming entry-level handset doesn’t appear to feature a physical Bixby button beneath its volume keys, with the overall look of its user interface being indicative of Samsung Experience based on either Android Oreo or Nougat, with the aforementioned manual pointing toward the former,” the Android Headlines report read.  The Bixby button is, therefore, assumed to be integrated into the smartphone’s home button itself. Readers are advised to note that the information has not yet been confirming by Samsung as yet.
