I just got this thing last night. When connected to my Note 5 (I just set it up, it has been in standalone ALL DAY, until this video), I get all of my normal notifications (From all my apps), on my watch! So it’s very similar to Android Wear notifications.
People keep asking when I’m going to make videos on the Galaxy S8. I’m unable to purchase one at the moment, so I can’t make any videos on it. If you want to (and can) help me get one, here is a link to my PayPal:
Update: Okay, so after syncing my Gear S3 to my Note 5 (instead of my Nexus 6P), there was a setting (that may have been there before, but I missed it) and I chose ALL apps can send notifications to my watch. My Gear S3 is in standalone mode right now (while typing this) and I’m getting and notifications without my phone synced to my watch.
Told ya… I got a LOT to learn. haha
This is just my first impressions. I have a lot to learn, but I’m loving it more and more as I play with it!
I got mine from the T-Mobile store, and AT&T is the only other company that has this watch right now. This is the version that can be used completely without a phone! 🙂
So I’m just reading this, the LG Watch Sport has LTE. I’m very interested! 🙂
