Hey guys what’s up I am Rohit Khurana your host on IntellectDigest and today we have with us the Samsung Galaxy S5. In this video I am going to quickly show you how you can setup
the fingerprint scanner on the Samsung Galaxy S5 to unlock the phone and you can also do some banking transactions etc. using the Paypal and other applications which are supported.
So for that you just need to go to settings for that just swipe down on the gear icon here, when you are in settings just go to the fingerprint scanner or finger scanner right
here its blue in colour and when you access this menu just go to fingerprint manager. You just need to do this only once for the first time, once you register your fingerprint it will
become very easy to use this. Once you are at this screen it is pretty simple, you just need to swipe your finger a few times and it will record the input every time, it records multiple
inputs so that there is no error in scanning. So as you can see this dot keeps on glowing and I see a green dot here every time it scans successfully three.. Four.. Five.. Six.. seven..
and it takes precisely eight scans after that you have to give an alternate password. In case the scanning does not work you can use this alternate password. So I have entered the password
and it says enable fingerprint lock. We come to the screen where we have to set the fingerprint so fingerprint lock is now enabled. Now I will quickly lock the screen when I unlock
it shows me these dots here which means that I need to access phone through my fingerprints and I swipe the same finger again it says recognized and I get the access it is unlocked.
It allows to register up to three fingerprints so if you have a family member or spouse with which you share your phone you can also register their fingerprints so that they can also
access your phone except you. So this is how easy it is to use the fingerprint scanner on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and set it up after you set it up once you don’t need to do anything
else again.
