Samsung Galaxy S3 FreeGS3 ROM Review

In this video, I review the FreeGS3 (Release 3) ROM from Team Sonic. You can find the developers thread here:

The FreeGS3 ROM for the GSM Samsung Galaxy S3 (in this case from T-Mobile) is based on the stock TouchWiz 4.0.4 ROM and is fully deodexed, zipaligned, has super user and busy box etc. Some of the ROM features that I cover are:

disabled boot up/down sounds
awesome beats
audio enhancing hack by meltus
jelly bean animations
youtube app with download mode
crt animation
extended quick controls
sony bravia engine
h+ icon instead of 4G
4 way restart

So far I am liking this ROM. It is fast and the fact that all the bloatware and carrier IQ is removed is a definite plus. I did benchmarks on the ROM but got pretty much the same results as I did with the stock ROM so I didn’t show them in this video.
