Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to feature dual screen: Report

Published on December 19, 2017

It’s been over two months since Samsung unleashed its Galaxy Note 8 series and there are already impending rumours regarding its successor. The latest speculation reported by Value Walk suggests that the expected smartphone will feature a dual-screen display.

Engineers at Samsung have been reported to believe that the only way to solve the problem of ensuring the delivery of a flexible smartphone is by integrating their Note 9 series with a dual screen. The South-Korean technology giant has apparently attempted to create such a phenomenon for years but has been unsuccessful at it.

The statement mentioned above is evident through the patents that the company has been filing for years. If this turns out to be true, then the Note 9 series will be a real gem, especially for the gaming community. Smartphone users will be provided with second-screen gaming controls, thereby allowing a comfortable and convenient use. As mentioned previously, Samsung has already patented this technology before.

The patent as noted by Value Walk spoke about the use of a digital stylus. This is believed to be a direct link to the Galaxy Note series, as its primary highlight is Samsung’s digital S stylus pen. Graphic artists will be able to make optimum use of this feature. Apart from this, it is also being speculated that the digital S pen will feature its speaker and camera as well. However, how far this turns out to be true, is something that only time will tell.

Samsung is believed to be working on the launch of Galaxy S9 series at the moment. The South Korean technology giant hopes to debut the smartphone in February next year, with shipping scheduled to begin the following month. This will be the first time that Samsung makes an early debut in the smartphone market. This will surely provide the company with an upper hand over the rest of its competitors.
