Russia To Citizens: Don’t Cross The Train Tracks04:33

The man in this video barely survived…many others have not.

Railroad safety rules in Russia are routinely ignored with drivers and pedestrians crossing railroad tracks under dangerous circumstances.

624 people were killed in rail-related deaths in Moscow alone during 2015; some of the deaths include incidents of young people ‘surfing’ on top of the trains.

Officials are cracking down and trying to educate young Russians about the dangers of trains and also conducting inspections, imposing fines and encouraging witnesses to report any infractions they see so that these kinds of accidents can be sharply reduced.

The takeaway seems to be a simple one here — don’t be dumb around trains.
