U.S. Marines with Black Sea Rotational Force 14 participated in the Romanian National Day Parade that went through Bucharest, Romania, Dec. 1, 2013, to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Great Union on Dec. 1, 1918. A platoon of Marines from both the command element and ground combat element of BSRF-14 took part in this parade. BSRF-14 focuses on stability, military-to-military engagements, and security cooperation activities, in order to build partner-nation capacity, enhance interoperability between countries and increase overall effectiveness of the participating military forces.
