Recently I purchased my wife a Kindle Fire HDX to keep her Kindle Paper White and original Kindle company (she loves books). She said if I got it for her she would read 50 shades of gray again and if you don’t get what that means for me you don’t watch nearly enough porn 😛
Well after I got it for her she said she wanted some protection for it so she could let me 3 year old son play educational games on it since we’re replacing her iPad with it. She wanted something he could literally step on and throw around and the device would be no worse for wear. She also said that I tend to break electronics and she also would like it to be ‘Jerry (aka. Barnacules) proof’. I choose the Otter BOX defender case since it was by far the most crazy looking as far as protection. My wife also liked it because it would make the device easier to hold onto.
In this video I unbox, install and put the case through the paces. One part that didn’t make the video since I didn’t record it is that I threw it off my loft to the down stairs floor and it did nothing, not even a scratch on the case. This thing truly is a marvel of engineering as far as cases go and as such I will now be getting otter boxes for literally everything I own.
