Reliance Jio network outgoing calls are now being blocked by incumbent operators like AirTel, Vodafone & Idea. These operators have asked for a higher-than-prescribed fee to handle Reliance Jio’s voice call ‘tsunami’ and are demanding higher termination charges than mandated 14 paise per minute fee for providing additional interconnection points to compensate for the “financial burden” due to millions of calls emanating from Jio’s network.
